My friend, Trevor, was looking for a quick tool which his team could use to double-check...

  • the minimum amount of cable needed to span two platforms and
  • the angle between the platforms.

    • Both can be calculated using trigonometry given the heights of both platforms and the horizontal distance between them.

    To save Trevor's team from simple, trigonometric calculations, this webpage was created as a quick calculator tool.
